   Defending Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 1 boys tennis champion Bloomfield Hills continued its regular season dominance, winning the Oakland Activities Association Red Division tournament on Thursday, Oct. 4, at Troy and Troy Athens.

   Division 1 No. 3 ranked Bloomfield Hills finished with 67 points. Division 1 No. 7 Troy and Division 2 No. 3-ranked Birmingham Groves tied for second with 48 points. Division 2 No. 2-ranked Birmingham Seaholm was fourth with 35 points.

   Bloomfield Hills won three singles flights: No. 1 Andrew Zhang, No. 3 Sebastian Burman, and No. 4 Cade Burman. No. 2 Tommy Herb was runner up.

 

 

 

   In doubles flights, Bloomfield Hills’ No. 1 team of Noah Roslin and Adrian Wilen and No. 2 team of Ryan Frank and Andrew Chen earned titles. The No. 3 team of Phoenix Williams and Max Nosanchuk and No. 4 team of Michael Lee and James Piel were runners up.

   The win kept Bloomfield Hills undefeated on the season.

   The Black Hawks host Division 1 No. 4 ranked Northville on Monday, Oct. 8.

   Bloomfield Hills competes in the MHSAA Region 7 tournament on Thursday, Oct. 11, at Clarkston.

   The MHSAA Division 1 final is Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19 and 20, at Greater Midland Tennis Center.
