Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood players and coaches pose with their MHSAA Region 21 boys tennis championship trophy on Wednesday.

   Division 3 No. 2-ranked Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood won the Michigan High School Athletic Association Region 21 boys tennis championship on Wednesday, Oct. 6, at Cranbrook’s new tennis complex.

   Cranbrook won the title with 22 points. St. Clair was the only other state qualifier, finishing second with 16 points.

   The Cranes won three singles flights with Owen DeMuth (No. 1), Patrick

 

 Tiwari (No. 3), and Caden Che (No. 4) earning titles.

   The Cranes also won three doubles flights with the teams of Jacob Coburn and Sebastian Taubman (No. 2), Andrew Fink and Ryan Michaels (No. 3), and Praneel Pillarisetty and Aryan Tiwari (No. 4) earning titles.

   Cranbrook won its second consecutive Catholic High School League Bishop Division championship on Saturday, Oct. 2.

   The MHSAA Division 3 championship is scheduled for Friday-Saturday, Oct. 15-16, in the Midland area.
