Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice players and coaches pose with their MHSAA regional championship trophy on Thursday.

   Division 1 No. 2-ranked Bloomfield Hills Brother Rice won the Michigan High School Athletic Association Region 3 boys tennis championship on Thursday, Oct. 11, at Salem.

   Brother Rice finished with 23 points. West Bloomfield was second at 14 points and Canton was third at 11 points. All three teams advance to the MHSAA Division 1 finals on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 19-20 at Greater Midland Tennis Center.

were singles flight champions. Matthew Hackman was runner-up at No. 4 singles.

   Brother Rice swept the doubles flights with the teams of Josh Anschuetz and Niko Mamatas (No. 1), James Mackenzie and Dominic Dadabbo (No. 2), Jonny Browne and Danny Dillon (No. 3), and Ben Wall and Conlen Kennedy (No. 4) winning titles.

   Brother Rice won the Catholic High School League boys tennis championship on Saturday, Oct. 6.
