2021 MHSAA Division 3 Boys Tennis Champions: Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood

   Bloomfield Hills Cranbrook Kingswood repeated as Michigan High School Athletic Association Division 3 Boys Tennis Champions on Saturday, Oct. 16, at the Midland Tennis Center.

   Cranbrook won with 32 points. Detroit Country Day was second with 27 points. Ann Arbor Greenhills was third with 25.

   It was Cranbrook’s sixth Division 3 championship in the past seven years and 24th in its storied history.

   Cranbrook won three individual championships on Saturday.

   Sophomore Caden Che earned the No. 4 singles championship.

   The No. 2 doubles team of senior Jacob Coburn and senior Sebastian Taubman and the No. 3 doubles team of freshman Ryan Michaels and sophomore Andrew Fink both took home championships.

   Junior Owen Demuth (No. 1 singles), senior Patrick Tiwari (No. 3 singles), and the team of freshman Aryan Tiwari and senior Praneel Pillarisetty (No. 4 doubles) all reached the finals in their flights.

   Junior Gian DeGuzman advanced to the semifinals in No. 2 singles and the team of senior Isaiah Croskey and senior Theodore Taubman reached the quarterfinals in No. 1 doubles.
